All Just Add Water Pools are individually designed to compliment the surrounding architecture and landscape. The first stage of any design is to obtain relevant house and drainage plans from local council. Once these are obtained the design process can begin. Just Add Water Pools will sit down and discuss the needs, wants, budget and visions with the client. Just Add Water Pools will then measure up the area, take defining levels, check service lines, inspect access to the site and survey the natural elements. When Just Add Water Pools have sufficient information a draft concept plan will be drawn up. The draft plan is then revised with the client and any changes made accordingly. The job is then quoted as per the clients needs and once both parties have come to an agreement on the plan a final agreement is produced. Just Add Water Pools use a Master Builders contractural agreement which lists all aspects of the pool. Just Add Water Pools then arrange a soil report prior to engineering to assess the site conditions and confirm all quoted costs. Once site conditions are obtained the plans are forwarded to the engineer and certifier for all relevant approvals. Standard approvals generally take 2-3 weeks and the client is advised throughout the process. Whilst awaiting the plans and approvals Just Add Water Pools will begin the process of sourcing a free fill site with the client. Upon approvals being obtained and a free fill site identified Just Add Water Pools put togeather a realistic schedule and plan for the works.
Just Add Water Pools will advise you from the outset how long the build process will take but it is generally between 8-14 weeks.
The process begins with removal of any structures and excavation of the pool. This process is generally finished in 1-2 days. Following the excavation the steel reinforcement and internal plumbing is laid and inspected by an engineer. The pool is then sprayed with concrete which generally takes place on day 3 or 4 of the construction process. Just Add Water Pools then leave all concrete pool shells to cure for a minimum 28 days. While the pool is curing, tile orders are sent and pool filtration is installed. The next step requires the pool shell to be levelled with a bed, ready for tiles, surrounding concrete, and finishing works. The tiling, surrounds and fencing of the pool generally take around 2-4 weeks to complete depending on the complexity of the job and weather conditions. The pool fence is then certified and pool interior installed. Then the only thing left to do is “ Just Add Water” and once the water is treated it is ready to use.
