Before

This pool located in Rochedale, Brisbane was in desperate need of a pool renovation and transformation. The owners called our pool renovation experts as the filtration system wasn’t functioning as it was meant to, there was cracking to the concrete and missing grout in some of the waterline tiles. This photo is our team removing the old coping tiles which were worn, had cracks and in places had missing grout.

During

During the renovation process, we fixed the cracking to the surface of the pool walls, removed the coping and waterline tiles and replaced them with modern tiles.

What caused the sand filtration system to fail was blocked pipes from poor pool maintenance. The Just Add Water team also:

resurface the pool
Changed the filtration system
Install solar heating.

After

The result was a fantastic pool transformation that the owners love as the new renovation included:

New cartridge filter system with improved performance and water clarity.

Surround Tiles
Coping Tiles
Waterline tiles

Cartridge Filters are an excellent alternative to traditional sand filters. Whereas a traditional sand filter typically filters between 60-20 microns (depending on media) a cartridge filter will filter between 15-10 microns, thereby giving much better water clarity.

The new sandstone look coping tile looks great against the pavers. Thank you for doing a great job.

pebble	Pebble	Pebble interior finishes have evolved greatly over the years and can provide some very natural water colours. glass	Glass	Glass bead interiors can be utilised as an alternative to pebble interiors to provide a very striking water colour.
